New Improved Fixed ·
A sharper portfolio layout and case studies that read like a story
Every portfolio just got a wider layout and a 2×2 case study grid. The new view was rebuilt around how hiring managers actually consume case studies. Plus drag-to-reorder, inline section editing, and a full WCAG accessibility pass - all on the new home of the Prodfolio changelog.
The biggest release we've shipped since launch — and the first one publishing on our new changelog at prodfolio.io/changelog. Two big themes: every portfolio just got a visual upgrade, and case studies now read like a story instead of a form.
✨ What's new
📐 A sharper portfolio layout
Every portfolio on Prodfolio just got a visual upgrade — no action required from you.
What changed:
2×2 case study grid with pagination — recruiters see four projects at a glance instead of sliding through pairs
Compact "Beyond Work" cards that scan faster without losing personality
Cleaner transitions between sections — softer, less boxed-in
Why this matters: Hiring managers skim before they read. More of your work, visible faster, on the first scroll.
📖 Case studies that read like a story
The case study reader was rebuilt around how hiring managers actually consume them.
Decision Loop expanded by default — no more "click to reveal" friction
New narrative order: Context → Approach → Metrics → Results → Skills
Audience-friendly phase labels (written for hiring managers, not PMs)
Reading progress bar + a floating Get in Touch link that follows the reader down the page
Full-width images for single visuals so screenshots actually breathe
Why this matters: Your strongest case study should feel like a great story — a clear arc, the punchline visible, an obvious next step. Now it does.
⚡ Improvements
🛠️ Builder upgrades you've been asking for
Drag to reorder Experience entries - a fix for "I have two current roles and the order is wrong"
"Not sure what counts?" reassurance in the case study modal — internal tools, side projects, and coursework all count
Helper copy for product philosophy — with a link to the writing guide for anyone tackling it for the first time
Living document framing in the builder to relieve the "must be perfect before publishing" pressure
🎬 Richer media
YouTube Shorts now embed correctly in case studies
Media uploads work on already-published portfolios (this was a top-reported bug — thank you for flagging)
🧭 Help & Support, finally in one spot
We replaced the flat Help Center link in the sidebar with a real Help & Support menu:
Help Center → help.prodfolio.io with how-tos and writing guides
Contact Support → email us directly
Share Feedback → tell us what to build next
Changelog → prodfolio.io/changelog with everything we've shipped
♿ Accessibility, baked in
We completed a full WCAG 2.1/2.2 audit and remediation across the app — labels, contrast, focus management, ARIA, touch targets. Every portfolio is now more accessible to every recruiter who opens it, including those using screen readers, keyboard navigation, or assistive tech.
🐛 Bug fixes
GitHub link now persists when you reopen the editor (it was saving but disappearing from the form — fixed)
Theme presets now apply correctly in full preview
Magic links from "Request Access" now deep-link to the specific case study you requested
OG meta tags now render correctly when portfolios are shared on Slack, LinkedIn, and other platforms
Sidebar is always openable in the builder
🔮 Coming next
We're heads-down on a few big bets for the next release:
More recruiter-first signals surfaced on the portfolio (metrics, impact, outcomes)
Continued builder simplification based on your walkthroughs
Better tracking for ongoing work

🆕 The changelog has a new home
You're reading this on the new prodfolio.io/changelog. Until today, our release notes lived on a third-party feedback tool. They worked, but they didn't build anything for the people most likely to care: customers comparing Prodfolio to alternatives, and search engines (or AI assistants) trying to answer "what's new in Prodfolio." Hosting our release history on our own domain fixes both.
Stable URLs. Every release now lives at
/changelog/your-update-here— easy to link in support tickets, sales calls, and social.Full content + screenshots instead of summaries hidden behind a third-party widget.
Filter by what you care about — New, Improved, or Fixed.
RSS feed at /changelog/rss.xml for anyone who wants updates in their reader of choice.
Full backfill. Every release from launch through April is here, with original dates and screenshots.
Feature requests still live on our feedback board — we read every submission.
👥 Community
We're still on Reddit at r/Prodfolio — share your portfolio, swap feedback, and connect with other PMs.
We're also opening up our Slack to anyone currently using Prodfolio. We're in the beginning stages of what that will look like, but one of our largest pieces of feedback is that our users are looking for more peer to peer collaboration on building. So if you want to join, click here.

Weekly sessions are still happening to build your portfolio — bring a draft, bring questions, stay as long as you need.
Thanks for building with us.
