Custom domains, publish celebrations, and the new full-width preview

Thanks for being here. We shipped some big updates this week, including enhancements to our custom domains feature, celebrating your wins, and the preview shows what hiring managers will see. Here's what changed:

✨ What's New

🌐 Your portfolio. Your domain.

Connect your own domain (like yourname.com) and choose your own URL when you share your portfolio.

• Added support for custom domain path routing, allowing your portfolio to be served from a specific path on your domain

• Added automatic www/non-www redirect handling, ensuring visitors reach your site regardless of which version they type

🎉 Celebrate publishing your portfolio

Hit publish and we'll celebrate with you. Copy a shareable link, post to LinkedIn to get visibility, or just take a moment to acknowledge you did the thing most PMs never get around to doing.

⏰ Your most recent work shows first

Your timeline now displays your current and most recent roles at the top (mobile) and left (desktop), both in the builder and on your live portfolio. Because hiring managers care about what you're doing now.

📄 See your portfolio like hiring managers do

The side-by-side preview was squishing your work into an unrealistic view. Now you get a cleaner builder preview + a proper full-width preview that shows exactly what someone clicking your link will see.

📆 Faster date selection:

Replaced the calendar picker with a simple month/year dropdowns. No more clicking backward through months to find when you started that job in 2019.

🐛 Bug Fixes

Images behave properly now

Fixed the issue where clicking an image in your case study would pop up behind the modal. Your screenshots and mockups now display the way they should.

🔮 Coming next:

• Onboarding emails to guide you from signup to published portfolio faster

• Work-in-progress case studies so you can showcase current projects, not just completed ones

• Performance fixes: we know the settings/portfolios page is loading slightly slower than it should. We've traced the issue and it's getting prioritized.

• Portfolio analytics: see when hiring managers view your portfolio and which case studies they click. We're looking for 5-10 active job seekers to beta test this. Interested? Email us at hello@prodfolio.io
